Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: 2026-05-25

Sitelad is for legitimate UK trade businesses. The list below isn’t exhaustive; if in doubt, drop us a line.

You must not

  • Publish illegal content, or content that promotes or facilitates illegal activity in the UK.
  • Impersonate another tradesperson, business, or trade body, or claim accreditations you do not hold (e.g. Gas Safe, NICEIC, FENSA).
  • Use the platform to publish adult content, gambling, weapons, tobacco, vaping, regulated financial advice, or other content outside the trade context.
  • Use Sitelad to send unsolicited bulk email or other spam.
  • Scrape, crawl, or otherwise extract data from Sitelad except your own data via the in-product exports.
  • Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of our infrastructure, or attempt to access another tenant’s data.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to copy the underlying Sitelad platform or template.
  • Upload content that infringes someone else’s copyright, trade mark, or other rights.

Suspension

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach this policy. We’ll give you reasonable notice and an opportunity to put things right where it’s practical to do so. In serious cases (illegality, abuse of other tenants, security risk) we may act immediately and let you know afterwards.
